Culminations of a Calling
By Apostle Aje Pelser
Apostle Paul Tells of His Calling
Act 26:12 "While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,
Act 26:13 at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me.
Act 26:14 And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.'
Act 26:15 So I said, 'Who are You, Lord?' And He said, 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
Act 26:16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.
Act 26:17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,
Act 26:18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'
Act 26:19 "Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision,

Ways to make your calling and election Sure
2Pe 1:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
2Pe 1:11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
There is a process involved and we will look at some examples to explain how a calling is made clear and accepted by the individual and the context of church locally and globally.
Walk worthy of your calling:
Eph 4:1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,
Eph 4:2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
Eph 4:3 endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
2Ti 1:9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
Aje’s Calling Scripture
“But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me that I might preach Him among the Gentiles.” Galatians 1:15,16
“God bless n use u man o God. A mighty release o His Spirit flows thru u 2 bring well-structured changes in hearts n minds 2 advance kingdom. Ap André.” SMS from Apostle Andre Pelser to me.
Luk 4:43 but He said to them, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent."
Prophecy for Aje when he was seven years of age to be a leader, by Prophetic Psalmist Tom Inglis in Brisbane Australia.
Evangelist Werner Louwrens (Harvester Birmingham, UK) preached this once:
He gave up His body so that He might be manifested through the body of believers(church). The body helps us live out our callings by perfecting and equipping us for the work of ministry. We also get to function in the body. With the church vision held before us, our callings dovetail with the church vision.
Context of Church
You find you calling in the context of His Bride the Church. The local body will also discern your calling and confirm it. The apostle and Prophets around you will release you into your calling or ordain you to confirm what you are already doing.
Andre Pelser’s call to be an apostle
It almost went unnoticed during the conference in Scotland that the 27th June was the 24th celebration of my call me to be an apostle. It happened at 6 am in The Blue Lagoon Motel, Dubbo, New South Wales in Australia on the same date in 1984. I heard a voice say out loud: ‘I call you to be an apostle’. It woke me up. I got such a fright that I immediately got up and read my bible until Nola and the kids woke up. The first verse I read as the bible fell open confirmed the voice I had just heard:
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God…
An apostle is a person sent as a representative of another to establish the purpose of the one who sent him. He has authority of the one who sent him.
Calling is confirmed:
On the 12th of the 12th month 1992, Nola asked me in her sleep, ‘what are you?’ My reaction was, ‘I am an apostle.’ Then we slept peacefully.
The purpose of God is clearly drawn in verse 4 of the same chapter: we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name. Paul’s constant yearning is to go to other nations to impart what he has received from God.
For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift so that you may be established…
In 1995 a group of prophets and apostles in Portland Oregon rebuked Apostle Andre for calling himself a pastor when he is actually an apostle. God will confirm your calling. But you need to accept it and act it out.
A divine call affects everyone else related to the one that is called, whether they like it or not.
Important Apostolic Quotes about calling:
God does not choose perfect people, but people who are willing to go! It is in the going that the cleansing takes place. A tree that bears fruit is pruned so that it may bear more fruit. Most people want to be perfect before God can use them. They never do anything for God.
Many are called, but few are chosen. I believe you choose to be chosen. God called me to be an apostle after I had already been doing apostolic work for years!
God does not force you to do things. He wants to see if you are willing to do it. It is not your potential that determines what you will become – it is your willingness to go the extra mile!
Function and calling
In the Book of Acts, the Lord was adding people to the church for a specific reason. People did not dare join them because they realized this was not a club, but a powerful spiritual vortex of a divine community, knit together by love, spurred on by a great commission to go and make disciples of all nations, and to continue in agreement with apostolic doctrine based on the teachings of Jesus and His Church.
Act_2:41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
Act_2:47 praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
Act_5:14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,
Act_11:24 For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord.
Stephen was a deacon, but he was called to be the first martyr for Christ.
Paul was a scribe and teacher, apostle to nations but his calling was to preach Christ to the Gentiles and suffer for his name’s sake.
Peter’s function was a fisher of men, but he was called to follow Jesus to the cross and release the Holy Spirit to the gentiles as well.
David was a prophet, priest and king but his calling was to restore worship seeking after God’s heart and doing His will.
Moses was a prince and prophet, but his calling was to be drawn out from Egypt, and to lead his people out of bondage towards their promised land.
Here is a key to unlock our calling as Christians:
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Rom 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Rom 8:30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Prayer and ask the Holy Spirit to remind you:
What has God asked me to do so far?
How can I help Jesus with His dream the Church?
Open your heart to receive prophetic impartation and vision about your calling of the Lord.
