By Apostle Aje Pelser, preached at Harvester Reformational Church, Cape Town
Gifts that contribute to the growth of the church.
A gift can be something you give, like a precious present, or it can be part of your life that you impart to others. It can be a spiritual endowment and it can also be a special skill that you have sharpened and matured over time to apply for the completion of a building or in a given task.
What we realize is that Jesus is building His Church by adding specific members that contribute and supply a unique gift to the greater church.
Eph 4:16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

2Ti 1:6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
From Apostle Andre Pelser’s book abouthte apostolic reformation of an accurate church that Jesus builds:
“It is time that the Church at large embraces the full five-fold ministry, the five allotments of the anointing of Christ after he departed from this earth and gave gifts to men to equip the saints and bring them to maturity and unity of faith, where they will no longer be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine according to Ephesians 4:11-16”

Building the Tabernacle of Moses:
Exo 36:1 “And Bezalel and Aholiab, and every gifted artisan in whom the LORD has put wisdom and understanding, to know how to do all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, shall do according to all that the LORD has commanded.”
