The Year of Jubilee

In the Old Covenant it came around every 50 years. It happened once in a life time. Everything that was yours has to be given back to you: land, houses, children (that were sold as slaves). What a wonderful time! It was worth waiting for.

Jesus came and upset the applecart by announcing the year of Jubilee when it wasn’t the year of Jubilee: he made a 50 year event and immediate occurrence! No wonder the religious minds were so upset with Him. How dare he interfere with our system? Well, my dear friend, your system has become obsolete, because Jesus announced a New Covenant in His blood that is a better Covenant based upon better promises! Instead of having to wait 50 years for the year of Jubilee you can announce it every day! Wow what a drastic change! And then Jesus goes further to claim that He is anointed by God to announce the Jubilee! (Luke 4:18-20) The 50^th year was the acceptable year of the Lord went everyone could go free! But now God’s favour freely abounds to everyone that believes Jesus’ announcement.

It is time for you to announce your Jubilee today! (Isaiah 58:1)

Areas of freedom

We are free from slavery to Sin, Satan & Self. We are the property of Jesus now and anyone trespassing will be sorely punished! (Col 1:12)

We are free from sickness and disease (Mat 8:17)

We are free from the world’s system (Col 2:13, 14)

We are free from fear of failure, disaster, death, destruction (I John 4:17, 18)

We are free from broken-heartedness and brokenness (Luke 4:18)

We are free to announce our time of blessing ((Deut 28:8/ Eph 1:3)

We are free to announce that all yokes are broken off our neck (Acts 10:38)

We are free from unclean spirits and demons that vex us (Mark 16:15-20)

We are free to announce that God will confirm His Word with signs (Mark 16:15-20)

If we are willing and obedient we will enjoy the good of the land (Is 1:19)

God’s agenda for you is greater than the enemy’s strategy against you! Rejoice! God is on your side! Sing Hallelujah for the Lord God Almighty is fighting on your behalf – and He will not fail! He will win the battle for you and give you the victory!
