Wisdom for Building Sustainable Supply

Passage: Proverbs 8:24-29

Part 2 – Wisdom for Building with Jesus
Preached by Apostle Aje Pelser
Harvester Reformational Church, Cape Town

God’s wisdom preceded the Rivers and Fountains of Life.
Wisdom helps us set up an endless supply line that never runs dry. God’s network of supply is universal and He has a kingdom that can manifest itself for you wherever two or three agree in Jesus’ name.
Our individual contributions to His supply line for the church include giving our tithes and offerings, but also of our expertise in orbits of function that Romans 12 expands upon.
Everything you need is already within – Christ within you is your hope of glory. When Christ within you connects with Christ within another believer, God’s supply line of ideas and resources starts to flow to establish His kingdom in that situation.

Pro 8:24 When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water.
Those who are wise will draw out the waters of life:

Did Jesus not say that if we believe in him,
Joh 4:13 Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
Joh 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."

Pro 20:5 Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, But a man of understanding will draw it out. The Spirit of God is a spirit of wisdom and understanding, counsel and might. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit, through meditation in the word and prayers, you start to draw out the counsel in the heart of man.
When we counsel people, we use questions led by the Spirit to make people draw the water from within. It is quite something to see someone dig deep and realize what they’ve got in their everlasting spirit!

Isa 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; 'For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.' "
Isa 12:3 Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation.

1Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.

Wisdom prepares the Church
Pro 8:25 Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills, I was brought forth;
If we understand that hills and mountains can refer to the church of the Firstborn Registered in heaven, the Church that Jesus said He’d build should reflect the wisdom of God in its operations and strategies.
Hebrews 12:22-24
Heb 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
Heb 12:23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Heb 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
Zion speaks of the true church in heaven, not a man made structure.
Zion also connects with the Tabernacle of David, who used Zion as a position for the tabernacle. He set up a standard of worship that tapped into New Covenant grace and mercy. He understood God’s heart – that seeks those who worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!

Wisdom Precedes our Orbital Forces around Christ
Pro 8:26 While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, Or the primal dust of the world.
Pro 8:27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there,
Primal dust is a medium for creation. While it is floating around – probably through the death of a star, there is no life and sustainable forces at work. But wisdom of God acts like the gravity that triggers the collapse of all that matter and primal dust into a ball – a planetesimals object that starts to clear out debris in its path around the central star. This creates an orbit that eventually sustains life.
The International Astronomical Union stipulates the following requirements for a planet:
• It needs to orbit the Sun
• It needs to have enough gravity to pull itself into a ball.
• It needs to clear out all other debris in its path.
God’s wisdom is evident in the way He created the forces at work in the universe – how about the universe of your life?

God is busy creating something beautiful out of all the chaos in your life. The gravity of His glory in your life that you have developed through the trials of your faith, the persecutions, the suffering, is an enteral weight of glory that no one can shake.
When you see the dust and debris around you, allow His glory within to trigger a gravitational collapse into the planetary system God has for you. That gravitational glory in you will develop life sustaining planets with orbits around Christ within you the hope of Glory!

Ask yourself: “What debris is hindering my spiritual growth path and orbit?
What remnants of a chaotic past can I give to God to develop into something beautiful that will give life to what was dead before? There’s the wisdom in God’s ways that will build you and His church into greater glory.
Grace and peace
