Christ is revealed in every scripture – here in this passage about wisdom we can learn so much about what Jesus sees for His Church.
Reading Proverbs 8:22-30
Pro 8:22 “The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old.
Pro 8:23 I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth.
Pro 8:24 When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water.
Pro 8:25 Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills, I was brought forth;
Pro 8:26 While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, Or the primal dust of the world.
Pro 8:27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there, When He drew a circle on the face of the deep,
Pro 8:28 When He established the clouds above, When He strengthened the fountains of the deep,
Pro 8:29 When He assigned to the sea its limit, So that the waters would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth,
Pro 8:30 Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him,

Proverbs that reveal wisdom for building with Jesus

Wisdom is God’s Possession at the Beginning of His Way
Jesus is the Way the truth and the Life. John 14:6
Aquila and Priscilla instructed Apollos, an eloquent speaker, more accurately in the way.

Wisdom comes before works
Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
We do not have to worry about achieving something for God, he has already prepared works for us to accomplish. We see it in prophetic dreams, visions, prophecies and the windows of opportunities that God opens up for us in different spheres of life.
Before ewe do anything for God, we can ask for wisdom to do it His Way – remember? Before the beginning of God’s Way He possessed wisdom.

The good news is that if you are baptised with the Holy Spirit, He is the spirit of wisdom and understanding. It’s one thing to get a word of wisdom, and another thing to receive the understanding to walk it out.
Isaiah prophesied about Jesus that the 7 fold Spirit of the Lord would rest upon him,
Isa 11:2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Wisdom operates with an Eternal Mind set
“Wisdom is established from everlasting…” Unless we realize that God lives in eternity and views our lives from His Perspective, we frustrate the grace of God for our journey. We have eternal spirits, and we preach an everlasting Gospel, and we belong to an eternal church of the Firstborn, registered in heaven.
1Co 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.
1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Rev 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—

Heb 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
Heb 12:23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Heb 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
