When God creates a New Thing

God created new things from nothing. That makes Him God. In the universe the Lord spoke and said Let there be light and there was light!

The creation is still being created and we can hear echoes of the earliest moments of creation through radio telescopes. Stars are dying and the stellar debris becomes seedbeds – nurseries that are incubating new stars and systems as we speak. Just our own Milky is said to have hundreds of billions of stars. Then consider that we are not even the largest of millions of galaxies that we know about.
When God does a new thing, it carries on being a new thing forever – it generates and recreates because it has the grace to do so – the inherent Godly power that cause creation in the first place.

Apostle Andre Pelser once taught about the new thing that God creates – it does not exist before and because you ask in Jesus’ name, he finds a way to create it for you!

New Things in the Old Covenant
Numbers 16:30 – 33
And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. 29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me. 30 But if the LORD make a a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. 31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: 32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. 33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

This never happened before. The earth never opened up and swallowed the people that opposed Moses the leader God appointed over them. But Moses prophesied that God will create a new thing and explained what the new thing will be. And people saw it happen. The earth opened up and swallowed them and their houses and all the goods that belonged to Korah. Then the earth closed over them again.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God.

New Things that reveal His New Covenant

But God creates many other new things – not only fearful things, but wonderful things as well.
1. His mercies are new every morning – Lamentations 3:23
Lam 3:22 Through the LORD\’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
Lam 3:23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

2. He made a new covenant – Mat 26:18Heb_12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

3. Jesus gave a new commandment to love – Jn 13:34
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
Joh 13:35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.\”

4. We are new creations in Christ – II Cor 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

5. He created a new heaven and a new earth – II Pet 3:13
2Pe 3:11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
6. He has given us a new name in heaven – Rev 2:17
And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.\” \’

7. We will sing a new song in heaven – Rev 5:9
And they sang a new song, saying: \”You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

8. Jesus makes all things new –
Rev 21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, \”Behold, I make all things new.\” And He said to me, \”Write, for these words are true and faithful.\”
Rev 21:6 And He said to me, \”It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

God gives new ideas and creates new opportunities for us; he gives new friends; he gives new revelation and new inspiration to do what we have to do.
One of our Harvester members worked in Korea and what amazed him was how the Korean engineers constantly designed and manufactured new things that they did not have before.
Jesus said: ask and you shall receive; anything you ask the Father in My Name it He does not have it He will especially create it for you!
God opens new dimensions for you to walk in; he creates new frontiers for your vision; He gives new strength for the task and new ability to perform it; He gives new sponsors and supporters to stand with you; He brings new church members to the church; He opens new doors for you so that you might stand before great men; He provides new courage to face all the odds against you successfully; God gives new houses, new cars, new furniture, new bicycles, new clothes!
Your heavenly Father knows what you need even before you ask!
When Nola went to a wedding in the UK someone in the church made a new dress and a new coat for her! Someone made a wedding dress for one of our Miracle Bible College students that got married in USA.
In a cricket test match you get a new ball every 80 overs. God gives new things when we need them!
God gives new surf boards for surfers and new soccer boots for football players, new cricket bats for cricketers! He gives new ballet shoes for ballerinas, new canvasses for artists!
God creates new contacts for our businessmen and leads new clients to them to succeed in their business!
You can ask the Lord for new things because He is our God that constantly creates new things all the time! Put your request in for a new thing! We serve the God of new things!
