The Vortex of God's Words

Every move of God is preceded by a flood of teaching and preaching. As we progress with God, He releases His words through anointed preachers and teachers with some astounding results. 'A torrent of words, a flash flood of words sweeping everyone into the vortex of his words.' Isaiah 30:28 The Message. Those standing alongside this powerful vortex of God's Word in a local church, will be drawn into a new life! The Vortex of God’s Words

Isa 30:26 Better yet, on the Day GOD heals his people of the wounds and bruises from the time of punishment, moonlight will flare into sunlight, and sunlight, like a whole week of sunshine at once, will flood the land.
Isa 30:27 Look, GOD's on his way, and from a long way off! Smoking with anger, immense as he comes into view, Words steaming from his mouth, searing, indicting words!
Isa 30:28 A torrent of words, a flash flood of words sweeping everyone into the vortex of his words. He'll shake down the nations in a sieve of destruction, herd them into a dead end.
Isa 30:29 But you will sing, sing through an all-night holy feast! Your hearts will burst with song, make music like the sound of flutes on parade, En route to the mountain of GOD, on the way to the Rock of Israel.
Isa 30:30 GOD will sound out in grandiose thunder, display his hammering arm, Furiously angry, showering sparks-- cloudburst, storm, hail!
Isa 30:31 Oh yes, at GOD's thunder Assyria will cower under the clubbing.
Isa 30:32 Every blow GOD lands on them with his club is in time to the music of drums and pipes, GOD in all-out, two-fisted battle, fighting against them.
Isa 30:33 Topheth's fierce fires are well prepared, ready for the Assyrian king. The Topheth furnace is deep and wide, well stoked with hot-burning wood. GOD's breath, like a river of burning pitch, starts the fire.
(Some of the images in the passage remind us of what God has done for Harvester Reformational Church, Cape Town.)

Verse by verse exposition:
The Vortex of God’s Words produces the following results in a church:

Sunlight!
Isa 30:26 Better yet, on the Day GOD heals his people of the wounds and bruises from the time of punishment, moonlight will flare into sunlight, and sunlight, like a whole week of sunshine at once, will flood the land.

We also read about the “Sun of Righteousness arising with healing in His wings…” Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Mal 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
I once prophesied to Harvester Church, Cape Town: “The future is so bright, we’ve got to wear shades…” I remember acting it out that night of prayer.
But it is important to understand that when God shines on His people, that same sunlight will flood the land as well – it is for the benefit of our communities that God shines through us!

Words!

Why is God angry? When have we seen God angry before? Nothing angers God more then idol worship, sin and unbelief. Living the things of the world more than the things of God; when the church is no longer a house of prayer but a den of thieves making merchandise of the Gospel and leaving the sheep scattered rather than caring for the sheep. Ask God to understand His heart for the areas you live in and start to pray accordingly. When innocent children suffer, when families are destroyed through lust and violence; when couples get divorced, when kids are disobedient and rebellious to parents; when fathers don’t take up their role as priest in their homes; when mothers leave their families for careers and other lovers; when sickness ravishes families and communities; when people reject God’s ways and are handed over to deceitful lusts and uncleanness exchanging the truth for the lie – things that anger God’s Spirit in the world today… to mention but a few.

Every movement of God will have a torrent of words – but sometimes actions speak louder than words. God’s words will always empower people to act –“sweeping everyone into the vortex of his words…”

However, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The word of God is preached by someone that is sent. Someone is sent from an apostolic and prophetic company of people like we read in the Book of Acts:
Act 13:1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
Act 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
Act 13:3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
Act 13:4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

I remember the early days of the modern apostolic reformation. Teaching was pouring forth like a flash flood. In fact, any church that is exposes to anything new, needs a torrent of teaching on the subject from scripture before anybody progresses. The purpose of accurate teaching of present truth needs to be accompanied with inspired preaching of application f that truth. The pr
