Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

Apostle Andre

When God fights for you it is a different level of victory, because it does not depend on your effort, faith, confession of faith or on anything that you do. When God fights for you. When the battle is the Lord's.

1 Samuel 17:47-  47 And all this multitude shall know that Jehovah does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is Jehovah's, and He will give you into our hands."

The battle is the Lord's. So that the whole earth will know that there is a God. God wants people to know that He is God. Sometimes He allows us to go through things that we didn't choose to go through, but we need to be able to submit to that instead of resisting that, so that He can prove Himself in the midst of the situation so that others can believe that there is a God. Now that battle, He will fight for you. It is not your battle because He got you into it.

So here is Moses, the meekest man on earth, after having done miracles and signs and wonders in Egypt, leading a whole nation out. Suddenly they are facing the Red Sea and the Egyptians are pursuing them, and Moses does not know what to do. People blamed him because they followed him and now they are stranded. Moses cries out to God and God asked Moses what he has in his hands. It was Moses' rod. God told him to stretch it out over the ocean. Psalms says that the voice of the Lord made the waters part and made a path in the sea. He then sent an east wind to dry it and to hold the wall of water in position. By faith they passed through the Red Sea. On the other side, the Egyptians tried to do what the Moses did through faith, but the Egyptians had no faith in God. To close the sea, God told Moses to just stretch his rod over the water again. The water fell on the Egyptians and killed them. Recent excavations have proved that there are actual chariot wheels in that area that belonged to that age. It actually happened. It was not a fairy tale. Moses was in a situation where he had to learn that the battle is the Lord's. He had to tell his people to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

One of the hardest things to do in life is to do nothing. It is a wonderful place to get to when you can do nothing more in a situation. Nothing you do will help. Nothing you say will help. All you have to do is to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. The battle then becomes the Lord's. He wins the battle for you. God won't loose. But it is hard for us to wait.

Moses lead the people, fed them for forty years with manna from heaven. They became sick and serpents and poisonous serpents would bite them. Moses made a brass serpent and put it on a pole and told the people to look at the serpent and be healed. It is speaking of Christ on the cross, becoming sin for us. When there is water and it is bitter, he throws some something in there and it became sweet. When they have no water he strikes the rock and water comes out of the rock, enough for three million people to drink.

When Moses died, no one knew where his body was, but the angels and the demons fought about his body, because he struck the rock twice, he disobeyed God once. How many times have you and I disobeyed God? He disobeyed God once. God was stricter with him. Moses also married an Ethiopian and was actually only allowed to marry an Israelite. So the demons were saying that they have a right to his body. And the angles said no. They were pulling his body apart. This is after he died. Now the question is, how much could Moses do in that situation to win the battle? This is the revelation I got. He couldn't do anything. He was dead. How much can you do after you are dead? He couldn't even help himself. Whose battle did that have to become? It had to become the Lord's battle and the Lord won that battle because God honours him.

So when you are facing something and you do not know how to overcome it in your life, in your situation, you have done everything you know how and do not know what to do next, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. When God fights for you, the whole scenario changes.

Daniel was thrown into the lions den. The same day Daniel came out they threw the men in who had arrested him and took him to the lions den, and it says that before their feet touched the ground they were devoured. Were those lions hungry? Yes. Were they hungry when Daniel went in there? Yes they were. So the den of lions, where they are constantly eating people, what does it smell like? The lions are hungry and they pushed Daniel in there, what could Daniel do? Nothing he could do, he needed another dimension to come into operation. He needed someone else to fight his battle. To spent the night there, the king opened it up the next morning, and the kind said this words, " Daniel servant of the most High God, was the Lord whom you continually serve able to deliver you from the power of the lions?" And Daniel answered, "yes oh king, may you live forever. The Lord whom I continually serve, sent His Angel to lock the jaws of the lions."

What was the requirement for Daniel to have the Lord fight his battles? The king described his requirement, "the God whom you continually serve." That is all. If you want God to fight your battles for you when you can't do anything anymore, it means that you serve Him continually. That you serve Him in the good times and in the bad times. You serve Him non-stop. When things don't work out for you, you serve Him. When things happen that you don't understand you serve Him. When you have good success you don't backslide. When things go right for you, you don't become proud. You continually serve Him. Just that continuation of serving God is the secret to having God fight your battles for you when you can do nothing about it. It is so simple that it is hard to believe.

Religion tells you that God will fight your battles for you when you do everything perfect and that when God is happy with you, then He will fight your battles for you. But God didn't say that. He said to serve Him. When there is a war, a cry, a call for soldiers to give their lives to the country, do they only take the perfect ones? Or do they take the ones that are willing to serve in the army? They take people that are willing to serve. That is also what a combine harvester is, that is what a church is, people who are willing to serve. If you serve Him continually, when the times come that you need someone to fight your battles for you, He will be there. When you have to face the giant like David did, you can say that the battle is the Lord's. If you just co
