Scanning the Spirit

| Scanning the Spirit
By Apostle Aje Pelser
Preached at Harvester Reformational Church, Cape Town, July 2020

Here are some settings you can configure in order to scan the Spirit of God accurately.
1. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Acts 2; 1 Cor. 12-14
2. Words which the Spirit teaches. 1 Cor. 2:9-13
3. Words of Spirit and Life. John 6:63
4. Let the Holy Spirit set the theme of every meeting. Rev. 2:7
5. Look for the liberty of the Spirit – Jesus came to set the captives free. 2 Cor 3:17
6. Remove the veil of religion. 2 Cor. 3:18
7. Behold His image and be transformed from glory to glory. 2 Cor 3:18

1. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Acts 2; 1 Cor. 12-14
You can’t scan the Spiritscapes of God without being baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire. Your mind and other influences will be too strong for you. Once you are immersed in the fullness of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, you will be able to scan more effectively what the Spirit of God is saying both to you and to others. It is an entirely new operating system that is required! By the Spirit you access spiritual gifts and fruits.

2. Words which the Spirit teaches. 1 Cor. 2:9-13
1Co 2:10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
1Co 2:11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
1Co 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
1Co 2:13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
When you listen to ‘successful’ churches you often hear worldly words, it sounds just like a motivational talk you can hear anywhere online. When the Holy Spirit teaches you words, it unlocks new worlds and sets minds free to roam in the bountiful fields of God’s wisdom.
There are things too deep and too high that the Father has the knowledge of, but by His Spirit He reveals them! When a guru teaches you something, you think wow he is amazing. When God teaches you through someone, you think, wow God’s Spirit is amazing. Big difference.

3. Words of Spirit and Life. John 6:63
Jesus said: Joh 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

4. Let the Holy Spirit set the theme of every meeting. Rev. 2:7
From the “Worship” manual by Prophet Nola Pelser:
Ps. 22:25 in the NIV Bible says:
“From You comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly”.
The source of the prophetic and spiritual song is in God. The psalmists draw from the spirit fresh water, deep living water.

5. Look for the liberty of the Spirit – Jesus came to set the captives free. 2 Cor 3:17
2 Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

6. Remove the veil of religion. 2 Cor. 3:18
Jesus tore the veil in the Holy of Holies. Religion puts it backup. If someone makes you think: “I cant do this or I’ll never be able to get to that level.” Then it is a religious spirit dangling a carrot in front of you again. The things of God belong to His children.
2 Cor. 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord,

7. Behold His image and be transformed from glory to glory. 2 Cor 3:18
We are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
The more we behold Him in His word, in His saints, in our lives, the more we are transformed from glory to glory.
Excerpt from Worship Manual by Prophet Nola Pelser
Liberty to scan in the spirit and the accompaniment of the instrument pour out the songs heard in the spirit realm. It is important to be at ease in a meeting, focused on glorifying the Lord, not man.
In focusing on the Lord, the person of our worship, and being not distracted by your own beautiful playing, but rather inspired by the music to worship and glorify God, unity of playing and worship, all becomes one, synergy. The singers and musicians also focus on the Lord and in humility submit one to the other, with the same vision and unison become one unit that can flow together and improvise for hours, sing in tongues, interpret, prophesy in singing, singing one spiritual song after the other as they are tuned in. All the diversity of the unlimited supply of the Holy Spirit creating a glorious flow of adoration, intercession, just music, dancing, quiet meditation, high praises. The Holy Spirit being the conductor and fulfilling thus His mission to glorify the Father and Son.
We must remember that the Holy Spirit comes from the Father, was sent by Jesus Christ our Lord. He knows the Father and Son, it is part of the Triune God, is acquainted with heaven, has all knowledge of creation, has all understanding of salvation and the riches of God the Father and the costly salvation we’ve received. Being directed by the Holy Spirit in prophetic and spiritual songs is the greatest and most awesome experience any singer and musician can experience. This will spoil you for life. Nothing on this earth can be compared to this – being in the tangible presence of a Living God with spiritual insight, sight and hearing. When your ears are opened to hear the songs and music of heaven, when your eyes see the splendour and glory of His majesty. When the beauty of His holiness floods your being and your eyes behold this – you are in awe and stare at God in adoration and worship.
Nothing can compare to worship in spirit and truth. Paul tried to describe it in these words:
“it’s a joy unspeakable and full of glory”.
The Holy Spirit knows the needs of the people in the congregation. Through prophetic songs and spiritual songs, our hearts are ministered to. Everything is open and naked before God.

We are equipping the saints to scan the Spirit in every situation as this will set up the effective working later where every part does its share.
Last week we spoke about seeing the work, and scanning the spirit is the upgrade to your spiritual vision you have been waiting for!
When this is in place we can go further and start to move towards the centre of what Christ wants for His church. When we find the central desire of Jesus for His church, our orbits will become apparent and we will start to gravitate to the most essential task He has for us individually and corporately. When that is in place we will be ready to seek and save that which is lost and be sent out for the great harvest again! I realize that we go through this sequence several times in our walk of faith. However, every time I refocus on the centre the sending out is more powerful and more glorious!
