Assurances that help you become accepted in the Beloved

Scripture Reading
Eph 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:
Eph 1:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Spiritual Blessings in Christ
Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
Eph 1:4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
Eph 1:5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
Eph 1:6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Paul writes to the Ephesians who were living amongst worshippers of the goddess Diana, of whom they made idols as a lucrative industry amongst the silversmiths.
To raise a standard against this principality of idolatry, the apostle merely withdraws disciples to teach the Word daily and in doing so, reached the entire Asian region with the Gospel with signs and wonders following. Check out Acts 19 for more.

Here are some assurances that you are well accepted in the Beloved.
Jesus the Beloved, Who is seated at the right hand of God and we are seated with Him in heavenly places too!

1. Assurance of grace through faith to the saints lifts us into a new positional truth in Christ.
2. We are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus. We have learnt how favour and provision flow from this heavenly blessing of our Father in Heaven through our faith in Jesus Christ. It remains that we accept that blessing and live it out too.
3. God has predestined us to be holy children of God before the foundation of the world. Predestination is like a GPS coordinate you give your car to follow to bring you to your destination. If you follow the instructions along the way, you will reach that destination. If you make a wrong turn, you must re-calibrate and re-centre your faith on Jesus who has also given you the Hoy Spirit to lead and guide, you into all truth. Accept His GPS for your life! God’s Positioning by the Spirit!
4. Accept that He has made you acceptable to God in His presence by His work on the cross. Having been resurrected, Jesus then enforces the redemption He bought with His blood and presents us to God blameless and holy, so that we can be accepted.
5. All we must do is accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and confess Him as Lord, believing in our hearts that God has raised Him from the dead, and our position in heavenly places is secure!

Father God, I come to you as I am, I confess Jesus as Lord and Saviour of my life, and I believe that you have raised Him from the dead. I accept that I am well accepted in the Beloved Church, and I accept your plan and ways for living my life from your Word. I will allow the Holy Spirit to give the GPS coordinated for my daily walk of faith.
I am accepted in the Beloved, Thank you Jesus!
