Here are some definitions with applications that will help us understand how operate in Divine Protocol

“Draft of terms agreed upon signed by the parties for use as the basis of a formal treaty; diplomatic etiquette; Greek origins: kola meaning “glue”. 

Proto- is a prefix from the Greek protos meaning first.”

Application of the meaning of Protocol scripturally:

So if we use the original meanings protocol could act as the first glue that keeps us together. Revelation reminds us not to lose our first love.

Interesting that Love is called the “bond of perfection” and that God has revealed that we will be known as His Son’s disciples by our love. Love being a fruit of His indwelling Spirit manifest in our lives is the determining factor and ultimate protocol.

The Etymology of “Protocol”

A noun meaning “an original note” minute or draft of an instrument or transaction. Late Greek has “protokollon” , and that was the glued-on descriptive first leaf of a manuscript.

The draft of the covenant Jesus would sign with His blood can be seen in the beginning, with Abel sacrificing the lamb, and later, Abraham willing to sacrifice his son Isaac, God providing the sacrifice in the form of a ram caught in the thicket.

Combine good protocol in witnessing with the power of the Holy Spirit, the Blood of the Lamb and a fearlessness in believers that don't love their lives to the death, and you have a victorious life with strong chance of saving souls!
