In Touch with the Infinite

IN TOUCH WITH THE INFINITE

This is a summary of the chat between me, Andre Pelser and one of my life long mentors, Michael Wood, when I visited him in his home in Sydney, Australia, April 2008.

The reality of infinite life within every believer can only be uncovered by meditation on ‘The I Am that I AM’ who is the Father of our spirits. Oneness with the Father and the Son is the answer to dualism that dominates religious mindsets. Jesus prayed, ‘that they may be One even as we are One’. He also encouraged his disciples ‘that they may be where I AM’. John 17 contains many infinite realities that will form Christ in us and expand our thinking about eternal life.

To walk in a consciousness of divine presence within ourselves is something religion cannot manifest. Only the ‘huios’ mature sons of God can enjoy their full inheritance and rule in the Household of God with authority and responsibility.

“Son” G5207  uihos Thayer Definition:

“a son, a descendant, one of the posterity”; “used by Christ himself;” “the one who both furnished the pattern of the perfect man and acted on behalf of all mankind.”

Mature sons of God can walk the earth as Jesus walked it with great assurance that ‘I AM is with them’. ( Note: The full manifestation of Christ Jesus can only be seen in a collective body like a church where people walk in unity of faith. One person cannot manifest the full measure of Christ – only Christ Jesus can reveal the fullness of Himself, but a body of believers that has been perfected by the fivefold ministry gifts can reveal the Genius of God.)

Jesus said, ‘If you see me you see the Father’. When people look at us, what do they see?

Moses had to learn to ‘be still and know that I AM God’. Still your thoughts and emotions for a while till you can come to the full realisation of I AM. Then a peace that passes understanding will flood your soul and keep your heart and mind. It will bring a joy unspeakable and full of glory.

Now we know we are beloved sons of God and what we yet shall be we don’t know, but when we shall see Him, we shall know Him as He is and we shall be like Him. (Note: we shall be like Him. The collective experience is important in the earth. Therefore we do not neglect the assembling of ourselves together to frequent that zone of perfection more and more.)

The flesh cannot enter behind the veil…the veil is His body that was broken for us to open up a new and living way into the Holy Presence of God to dwell there – permanently. We learn to abide in the presence of God by faith. By the blood of Jesus we enter into that holy place of absolute union with the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. We are all made priests unto God a holy nation, a royal priesthood, a prophetic people.

Heb 10:14  For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

Heb 10:15  But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,

Heb 10:16  'THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR HEARTS, AND IN THEIR MINDS I WILL WRITE THEM,'

Heb 10:17  then He adds, 'THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE.'

Heb 10:18  Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

Heb 10:19  Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Heb 10:20  by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,

Heb 10:21  and having a High Priest over the house of God,

Heb 10:22  let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Heb 10:23  Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Heb 10:24  And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,

Heb 10:25  not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Abide in Him and He abides in you – that is Oneness. Abiding literally means to take up residence permanently. We changed address in the spirit realm when we accepted Christ as our Lord. We are part of the Household of God and Jesus is our older Brother.

Renewing the mind is only a partial fulfilment of the sacred reformation. We still have to renew the soul and to renew the spirit for total reformation of spirit, soul and body. Finally the body will be redeemed and our mortal bodies that only know corruption will become incorruptible and be changed from being mortal to being immortal and never be corrupted again! Death shall be swallowed up in victory. We will be like Him when He appeared to His disciples after His glorious resurrection!

When sin consciousness is replaced by a righteousness consciousness, we learn to walk by faith alone and not rely on our good works for anything. We learn to have peace and joy by believing rather than by emotional feelings or by our own good works. Then we have peace even when we have no peace: it is a divine peace that passes understanding.

This is what creation has been groaning for: the manifestation of the sons of God. This is what has been missing in the church. Only God can manifest His Sons. It is not a method or a system – the church is not a factory.

Infinite possibilities open up when eternal life is realised – not just a set of rules to live, not just a list of do’s and don’ts. It is a life. It is the Life of Christ being manifested in His followers. This is a life where provision is no longer a pursuit, but a sure knowledge for all eternity! In that day, Jesus said, you shall ask me nothing! Whatever you ask the Father in My Name He shall do it for you. We are entering that dimension because of the Great and Precious Promises given to us through Christ Jesus.

This knowledge of the infinite gives us rest in spite of our circumstances and in spite of what people may think about us. We have this blessed hope that we are one with the Father and one with the Son, just like a wave is part of the ocean. Nothing can separate us. He is the vine and we are the branches. The striving is over. The rest of faith begins. All things become possible because we believe right. He died for us to forgive our sins and rose to reproduce His life in us. He will complete the good work He has begun in each of us. The spirits of just men made perfect.

This is the church of The Firstborn, registered in heaven. Is your name written up in heaven? Today heaven rejoices when a new name is written in the Lamb’s book of Life. When you accept Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for your sins, He gives you the power to become a son or a daughter of God, if you believe on His Name. If you believe with your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord you shall be saved, for with the heart we believe unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10; 9, 10)
