Church planting is still going on at Harvester: perhaps not as we plan it but as the Lord allows! We have to be open to the perfect will of God in all instances even if it does not suit our sensibilities at times. We have an apostolic role to play in the earth and that includes church planting. I am presently attending the COC *Christian Outreach Centre Church Planting conference where pastor Ashley Schmierer and John Smiley are ministering for a week. John will be with Harvester on Sunday the 18th.
Pray about the following church plants that are in progress: Gateway Community (Sea Point) A group in Kleinmond (Afrikaans) Tony Sands in Colchester (UK News) and ChurchattheBeach in FLorida (USA) Greg and Mary Lou Nissan.
I hope to go and visit these church plants overseas to establish them on apostolic foundations. Write to them to encourage them and pray for them.
I will paste the church planting notes that I took at the COC conference after Friday so that you can browse through them and learn from them. thank God for the enthusiasm of the COC guys!
