Blessings in Birmingham

November 2010

Birmingham is fast becoming the No 2 City in the UK. During the past ten years they have done much upgrading and there is much more to take place in the next 5 years. Large companies are moving their HQ’s to Birmingham because it is very central, rents are cheaper and it has its own International Airport.We flew straight from Schipol airport in Holland to Birmingham.

Graham and Anne Unsworth have really done a sterling job keeping the little flock of Harvesters together during the formative years of the church in Birmingham. There are people interested in becoming part of the new move, we can pray that the Lord will open their eyes! 

Stuart Colum led the worship and it was a pleasure to see how they have grown in prophetic worship. We still have to introduce the dance – once they have space! Graham’s house is getting to small for the gathering. They are looking at renting a church hall for the meetings.

Duncan and Bev Curry from Sowerbybridge were also at the weekend’s conference. It was so good to see them again. Graham felt there was a shift in the spirit during the meetings and that the northern gate to the city was open for us to go through.The size of the meeting is not as important as the frequency.

A small group of people can influence the heavenly realm and make drastic changes which affect an entire city, an entire nation! Stuart Colum told us how his work has influence in shaping the future architecture of the city centre!

Graham, Anne and Ben were the perfects hosts for the weekend. He chauffeured us around from place to place and did whatever he could for each one of us.I told him about the protocol of the Maasbach mission for visiting ministries and he said, perhaps we should write a protocol for Harvester as well, not just for the visiting ministers but for the congregation as well!

Nola taught on worship and gave practical advice for life and service. She prophesied to many people. I ministered as the Spirit led me and Graham testified to the accuracy.

God put it in their hearts to make such a great sacrifice. What we need in Birmingham is a three month crash course of our Bible School material. Let’s pray about it and see how we can make it possible!
