Force of Faith

Explanations that will release the force of faith in our lives.

Faith is a fruit of the Spirit

Gal 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Gal 5:23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Gal 5:24  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Gal 5:25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Faith is an assurance and reliance upon God and His Word

G4102 pistis pis'-tis

From G3982; persuasion, that is, credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly constancy in such profession; by extension the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself: – assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God preached by a sent one.

Romans 8:8-17

Operating in Faith eliminates carnal mindedenss

1Co 3:3  For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

A Carnal Christian is controlled by his five senses.  Only believes when he has physical evidence.  To be carnally minded is death.  Because you will never believe the Word of God.  So if you come into an area of sickness and you only believe what you can feel, you will rather believes the sickness than the Word of God.

These men at Corinth were born-again – Spirit-filled – gifts operating believers, but they were making mistakes in operating these gifts.  Yet Paul says I cannot talk to you as spiritual men. They were babies.

The Force of Faith in the Word releases God’s power to heal

Mat 8:6  And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

Mat 8:7  And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

Mat 8:8  The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

Jesus saw this man understood what it meant to be under authority as Jesus was under His Father’s authority.

Joh 5:19  Then Jesus answered and said to them, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.

Joh 5:20  For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.

Joh 5:21  For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.

Joh 14:10  Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

The Force of Faith is born in the recreated spirit – new creation

2 Cor 5:17, Ephesians 2:8-10 – that force of faith helps us ot become His workmanship created for good works in Christ Jesus , things God prepared beforehand for us to walk in…

Release the Force of Faith in the name of Jesus

Acts 3:16  And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. 

Peter and John explained their source of faith this way when they met a lame man and he was raised up – walking and leaping and praising God. Use the name of Jesus more – our faith comes through Him!

We are receiving many testimonies of people being healed as a result of Jesus' name being used, people with back problems, nausea and bacterial bugs, chest p[roblems, people who could not have children medically speaking who miraculoulsy give birth and the child is perfectly formed – the lady had no Falloppian tubes for normal pregrancy to take place and yet God did a miracle, you can meet people like this who believe inteh name of Jesus Christ – they come to church on Sundays!

Praise God for the force of faith that comes throuhghte name of Jesus.
