Rest in Our Land
Prophet Nola Pelser highlighted these scriptures for us yesterday:
Help is needed until We have Rest in our Land –
Harvester Reformational Church owns land in Burgundy Estate, but till now there has not been an opportunity to lay foundations and build.
The tribes who had rest in their inherited land were to help the tribes that had unrest – till there was rest in the land:
Jos 1:12 And to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh Joshua spoke, saying,
Jos 1:13 \””Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, \’The LORD your God is giving you rest and is giving you this land.\’
Jos 1:14 Your wives, your little ones, and your livestock shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side of the Jordan. But you shall pass before your brethren armed, all your mighty men of valor, and help them,
Jos 1:15 until the LORD has given your brethren rest, as He gave you, and they also have taken possession of the land which the LORD your God is giving them. Then you shall return to the land of your possession and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD\’s servant gave you on this side of the Jordan toward the sunrise.\””
Jos 1:16 So they answered Joshua, saying, \””All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.
Jos 1:17 Just as we heeded Moses in all things, so we will heed you. Only the LORD your God be with you, as He was with Moses.
Jos 1:18 Whoever rebels against your command and does not heed your words, in all that you command him, shall be put to death. Only be strong and of good courage.\””
Joshua set up a stone as a witness: Os Strydom brought a huge boulder that he set on stage as an acting prophecy of this word yesterday – that rock will be witness that our Church agreed with this prophetic word!
Jos 24:22 So Joshua said to the people, \””You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen the LORD for yourselves, to serve Him.\”” And they said, \””We are witnesses!\””
Jos 24:23 \””Now therefore,\”” he said, \””put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the LORD God of Israel.\””
Jos 24:24 And the people said to Joshua, \””The LORD our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!\””
Jos 24:25 So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and made for them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.
Jos 24:26 Then Joshua wrote these words in the Book of the Law of God. And he took a large stone, and set it up there under the oak that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.
Jos 24:27 And Joshua said to all the people, \””Behold, this stone shall be a witness to us, for it has heard all the words of the LORD which He spoke to us. It shall therefore be a witness to you, lest you deny your God.\””
Jos 24:28 So Joshua let the people depart, each to his own inheritance.
The Reformer Hezekiah set the Standard and initiated giving from the 3rd to the 7th Month – For us this means from March into July 2014
We are now in March – we will continue into July till we have laid up the heaps of Tithes and Contribution to the work in Cape Town and to move to our land:
2Ch 31:2 And Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and the Levites according to their divisions, each man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and peace offerings, to serve, to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the camp of the LORD.
2Ch 31:3 The king also appointed a portion of his possessions for the burnt offerings: for the morning and evening burnt offerings, the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths and the New Moons and the set feasts, as it is written in the Law of the LORD.
2Ch 31:4 Moreover he commanded the people who dwelt in Jerusalem to contribute support for the priests and the Levites, that they might devote themselves to the Law of the LORD.
2Ch 31:5 As soon as the commandment was circulated, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of grain and wine, oil and honey, and of all the produce of the field; and they brought in abundantly the tithe of everything.
2Ch 31:6 And the children of Israel and Judah, who dwelt in the cities of Judah, brought the tithe of oxen and sheep; also the tithe of holy things which were consecrated to the LORD their God they laid in heaps.
2Ch 31:7 In the third month they began laying them in heaps, and they finished in the seventh month.
2Ch 31:8 And when Hezekiah and the leaders came and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD and His people Israel.
2Ch 31:9 Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
2Ch 31:10 And Azariah the chief priest, from the house of Zadok, answered him and said, \””Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat and have plenty left, for the LORD has blessed His people; and what is left is this great abundance.\””
2Ch 31:11 Now Hezekiah commanded them to prepare rooms in the house of the LORD, and they prepared them.
Let us all do our share and make contributions for this work from the 3rd month – March into the 7th Month – July 2014. May God bless all who contribute abundantly till we find rest on our land! The Great Harvest of Souls continues!
