Prophecy to Occupy and Conquer from Amos
By Apostle Aje Pelser, part of Occupy and Conquer Series

Amo 9:11 “On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;
Amo 9:12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” Says the LORD who does this thing.
Amo 9:13 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it.
Amo 9:14 I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.
Amo 9:15 I will plant them in their land, And no longer shall they be pulled up From the land I have given them,” Says the LORD your God.

Prophetic Strategies to occupy and conquer your promised land

1. Restore Worship.
“On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David. Spirit and truth worship is based on what David pioneered. James the apostle of the church in Jerusalem said: Act 15:16 ‘AFTER THIS I WILL RETURN AND WILL REBUILD THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID, WHICH HAS FALLEN DOWN; I WILL REBUILD ITS RUINS, AND I WILL SET IT UP;
Act 15:17 SO THAT THE REST OF MANKIND MAY SEEK THE LORD, EVEN ALL THE GENTILES WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, SAYS THE LORD WHO DOES ALL THESE THINGS.’

2. Win the remnant of Souls.
“possess the remnant of Edom, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name.” Esau was Jacob’s brother. Let us win lost family members for Jesus and see brethren dwell together ion unity sop that God can command a blessing.
Psalms 133.
The name Edom, “red,” may have been derived from the red sandstone cliffs characteristic of the country. It was applied to Esau because of the color of his skin (Gen_25:25), or from the color of the pottage for which he sold his birthright (Gen_25:30). In Gen_36:8 Esau is equated with Edom as dwelling in Mt. Seir; and he is described as the father of Edom (Gen_36:9, Hebrew).
Edom, who may be traced in such a name as Obed-edom (2Sa_6:10).

3. The plowman shall overtake the reaper.
The harvest is so great the ploughman overtakes the one who reaps./ God is helping us break new ground in the spirit all over the world. Ther e4is more work than harvesters! {Prayer the L:ord of the Harvest to raise up more harvesters for the harvest is plentiful! This is something we haven’t prayed for a while, be honest!

4. Bring back captives.
Bring back captives of sin, sickness and Satan and operate in the Christ anointing of Luk 4:18 “THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE HAS ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR; HE HAS SENT ME TO HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED, TO PROCLAIM LIBERTY TO THE CAPTIVES AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET AT LIBERTY THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED;
Luk 4:19 TO PROCLAIM THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.”

5. They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;
If we read on in the source scripture that Jesus quoted when He began His ministry. We realize that part of His Christly anointing is to rebuild waste places and repair ruins:
Isa 61:1 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
Isa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
Isa 61:3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
Isa 61:4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.
Isa 61:5 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, And the sons of the foreigner Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
Isa 61:6 But you shall be named the priests of the LORD, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast.
Isa 61:7 Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.

6. Be planted to bear Fruit
“They shall plant vineyards and drink from them, pant gardens and eat fruit from them”
In a sense, this is a restoration of what Adam lost in the garden with te Lord. God restores intimacy ion relationship. The Holy Spirit cultivates His fruit in our lives, and it nourishes us and those who interact with us. You shall know them by their fruit. Some people think fruit is merely prosperity and numbers in a church, however, Galatians 5 says:
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Here is a more expanded explanation of the word fruit:

Joh 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
Joh 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
Joh 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
Joh 15:17 These things I command you, that you love one another.

The same word for fruit is mentioned here by Jesus.
Obeying His commands includes the great commission to go and make disciples and the command to love God and people.
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Mat 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
Joh 13:35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Application:
Consider how the Lord has allowed you to bear fruit.
Ask the Helper the Holy Spirit – Lord help to restore relationships that have been ruinbed.
Also consider dreams and areas of your life that feel desolate: ask God’ to empower you to rebuild and restore those areas completely in Jesus’ name.
