Mountains Be Removed!

When Jesus told his disciples that even a little bit of faith can move mountains, He was unlocking divine grace that allows us to say: “Mountain be removed.”

If you look at the Scriptures you will find forces to remove mountains of various kinds in your life.

1. Faith – like a mustard seed.
Mat 17:20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Mat 17:21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

2. Grace – saving grace to your mountain means you have grace in the first place to dispense.
Zec 4:6 So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts.
Zec 4:7 ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” ‘ ”
Zec 4:8 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying:
Zec 4:9 “The hands of Zerubbabel Have laid the foundation of this temple; His hands shall also finish it. Then you will know That the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you.

3. God’s Presence – the hills melt like wax in the presence of the Lord
Psa 97:5 The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
Psa 97:6 The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples see His glory.

Gen 15:17 And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces.
Gen 15:18 On the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying: “To your descendants I have given this land,
If you study the Blood Covenant that God made with Jesus, you can see how Abraham entered in on it by faith.

4. Straightening – Make straight the way of the Lord – john the Baptist’s cry removed the mountains of religious structures and traditions of men that made the power of God void for centuries in the preparation for people to receive Jesus Christ as their Saviour.
To make the way of the Lord straight means:

euthunō pronounced “yoo-thoo’-no”
From G2117; to straighten (level); technically to steer: – governor, make straight.

5. Judgment – Jesus driving out demons with the finger of God.
Luk 11:20 But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.
Luk 11:21 When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace.
Luk 11:22 But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.
Luk 11:23 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

6. Kingdom. The creative force of the Kingdom of God supersedes all else – the little stone that covers the earth – vision of Daniel about the kingdom of God
Dan 2:34 You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.
Dan 2:35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
