The language of God?s sons reflects the following characteristics:

Sons speak words of SPIRIT and LIFE
John 6:63, 68
Simon Peter kept on following Christ because Jesus had the words of eternal life.

CREATIVE words
Gen. 1:3
When God spoke creation into being, His breath represented the Holy Spirit, His vocal cords represented His own frequency, and the Words formed represented Christ ? ?In the beginning was the Word… without Him nothing was made that was made…? Now that Word has become flesh in us.

GIFTED words
The utterance gifts include prophecy, tongues and interpretation given as the Spirit wills for the benefit of all. Prophecies are necessary to finish the work, as we recall that the building prospered through the prophesying of the prophets. Ezra 6:14
Tongues and interpretation have a unifying factor in a positive sense as opposed to Babel where they acted wickedly in unity. However, God acknowledged that the ?people are one and they have one language, nothing will restrain them from doing that which they imagine to do.?
So at Pentecost God unified language through giving us a spiritual language.
He gave us this principle so that we can operate on that level of unity.

Words of PRAYER
Jesus gives us tips on prayer ? where to pray, how to pray. When praying alone praying secret, so that the Father who sees in secret may reward you openly. It takes the same amount of effort and energy to pray for someone than to gossip about or slander them.
We are given different kinds of prayers to help us communicate with God and execute His will on earth as it is in heaven.

GRACIOUS words SEASONED WITH SALT
Col. 4:6 Always gracious, seasoned with salt.
Grace includes merciful and forgiving words: ?Father forgive them for they know not what they do.? Jesus? words on the cross is the standard for sons of God. Luke 23:34

Words of DIVINE AUTHORITY
John 14:10 Jesus gives us insight to the Source of His words.
John 16:13 reveals how the Spirit of God which dwells in His sons speaks.
He does not speak on His own authority but whatever he hears He will speak.
Hear what the Spirit is saying and speak likewise.

Words of the FIRSTBORN
John 14:26
The Helper also brings to our remembrance the things that Jesus said.

If the natural tongue can bridle the whole body, then a church that speaks what the Spirit is saying, based on Christ Words by the authority of God the Father, can bridle the body and ride into God?s glory.

Take the first line from Harvester's Creed:
'As we continue to practise doing just what God tells us to do in His Word, life completely changes for us…' by saying that for a start, we bridle our spirit soul and body to follow the principles in the Word. That Word in our mouth brings about change. Let's speak like sons of God.
