Ascending
I heard these words in my spirit one morning, clear as a bell:
“You are ascending now. You can ascend because you have also descended.”

It stuck with me for days until I started to read about it more and meditate about it further.

Jesus can fill all things because he understand the act of descending.
Eph 4:7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
Eph 4:8 Therefore He says: “WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH, HE LED CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE, AND GAVE GIFTS TO MEN.”
Eph 4:9 (Now this, “HE ASCENDED”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
Eph 4:10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)

Ways we descend and ascend with Jesus
• He condescended to us by becoming a man coming in the form of a servant. Phil 2.
• Learnt obedience through the things He suffered,
• He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death on the cross.
• He was touches with feelings of our infirmities. Heb. 4:15,16
• Tempted as we are yet without sin
• Prayers of saints
• Therefore, God has highly exalted Him and given Him the name above all names!
• When Jesus ascends, He takes us with Him!

Php 2:6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
Php 2:7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
Php 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Php 2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,

Joh_3:13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

Joh_20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”

Rev_8:4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

Rev_11:12 And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.
