Going on to Perfection

Most Christians have potential to become sons of God but they are left out in the cold ? they do not know the intimacy of the knowledge of Christ and therefore never ?become? what they were pre-destined to be. Going on to Perfection

I woke up at exactly 05h00 this morning here in Sunset Beach with the breakthrough idea to develop a course for the entire church based on the concept, ?Going on to Perfection?. This refers to the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry by the Five-fold ministries and alludes to the Scripture in Hebrews 6 that states, we should not get stuck on the foundational issues of faith but go on to perfection.
I had a strange dream not so long ago, and what is stranger about it is the fact that I dreamt it all in French! And even stranger: I understood every word in French! A Frenchman explained to me why so many Christians never resemble Christ. He took the example of a ***** (le coq ? the French symbol used on their national rugby jerseys) and a hen and an egg (le Oeuf). He said the egg does not resemble either the ***** or the hen, but it has the potential do to so if the egg is hatched by the warmth of the hen?s feathers. Most Christians have potential to become sons of God but they are left out in the cold ? they do not know the intimacy of the knowledge of Christ and therefore never ?become? what they were pre-destined to be. They remain eggs in other words ? the chick never comes out of the shell. Most Christians never come out of their shells because they are never hatched. They are just good enough to be eaten!
The world mocks Christianity and the Church because they do not resemble what they profess. Their lives and actions do not display Christ to the world and therefore the world sees Christianity as obsolete and useless. It has no relevance in modern society anymore and it has lost its former attraction.
The moment a church or an individual embraces the fact that an egg cannot hatch itself but it needs the warmth and attention of the Five-fold ministry, there will be a breakthrough in the Church globally. Millions of born again believers (eggs with potential of becoming chickens) will be hatched if the church embraces the reality of modern day apostles and prophets who have been given for that specific purpose by the Lord when he ascended on high. The Five-fold ministry gifts are called the Ascension Gifts of Christ.
1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3And this will we do, if God permit. 4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. 7For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

Ephesians 4
1I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. 9(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

4:12 The Greek word for equipping implies: 1) a recovered wholeness as when a broken limb is set and mends; 2) a discovered function, as when a physical member is properly operating. The work of ministry is the enterprise of each member of the body of Christ and not the exclusive charge of select leaders. Taken together, vv. 11, 12 reveal that the task of the gifted leader is to cultivate the individual and corporate ministries of those he or she leads.

4:11 The evangelists (euangelistas, Gk., lit. ?one who preaches good news?) in the N.T. were men supernaturally gifted with (1) a unique ability to present the gospel effectively to unbelievers, and (2) a unique ability to train other believers in evangelism, thus making it possible for all Christians to be a part of the implementation of the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18?20). ?Pastors? and ?teachers? are combined in the Greek text and should probably be read ?pastor-teachers.?

17This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20But ye have not so learned Christ; 21If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27Neither give place to the devil. 28Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ?s sake hath forgiven you.

Hebrews 5
1Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2And walk in love, as Christ als
