God inside minded

Passage: Philippians 2:13

God Inside-Minded
When you receive Christ as your Savior you have God inside you. You begin to partake of the very nature of God. You are in Him and He is in you. Any man that is in Christ Jesus is a new creature, a new species of being.
Philippians 2:13: for it is God in you working to will and to work according to His good pleasure.
Here are four misconceptions that stop our spiritual development as new creatures in Christ Jesus and prevents us from being God-inside-minded.
1. Misconception of God destroys trust in Him.
2. Misconception of ministry destroys confidence to minister to others
3. Misconception of God’s standards stops you from being yourself
4. Misconception of the will of God prevents you from mastering the art of living.
1. Misconception of God destroys trust in Him
God is a good God and wants to prove it to you. He will perfect you if you let Him. He is not stingy, harsh or cruel; He is fair. He is not a bully or a killjoy. He loves you and nothing will stop His love for you. God is interested in giving you peace & joy and good success. He is willing to give you the desires of your heart. He is at work within you both to will and to work according to His good pleasure. God is for you, not against you. He makes you willing to do His will.
2. Misconception of Ministry destroys confidence to minister to others
God won’t force you to do something you don’t have faith for. He has given you a measure of faith for the rest of your life. When He asks you to do something you already have faith for it. Faith is inherent in His Word. Faith comes by hearing His Word. Jesus lived this earthly life before you and understands what you face. You can safely follow Him. He is a good shepherd. He will not let an upright heart go astray. The love of God in you is an indestructible force. You can’t kill love; it will rise again!
3. Misconception of God’s standards stops you from being yourself.
God made only one person like you. Be yourself. A year from now on you can be more valuable to God and humanity. God made you and believes in you. He thinks you can do what you have to do. His divine nature in you will well up like a living fountain and spur you on to complete your life’s task. The God that made the universe made you! Trust Him. I heard about a father telling his daughter: ‘you are the greatest mistake I ever made.’ God did not make a mistake when He made you.
The thing that pleases God is faith. Believe that God is pleased with you when you are yourself.
4. Misconception of the will of God prevents you from mastering the art of living.
God is at work in you both to will & to work according to His good pleasure. Philippians 4:13 tell us we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us continually. God puts His will inside of our spirits. His will and our will combine like a well-woven rope to take the weight of our life. Then God inspires us to work according to His will for our lives. Faith begins where the will of God is known. He will equip you for every task He demands.
