Developing Quiet Confidence
Quiet Confidence keeps the enemy guessing: 'What makes that person so confident?' There is a strength in knowing where your confidence lies. If you learn how to develop a quiet confidence in God it will be a source of strength that will not only keep the enemy guessing, but will also secure victory upon victory in your life. This is not a motivational course, it is age old advice given by the prophet Isaiah. He actually heard God saying it. God's advice for you today is to learn to develop quiet confidence in Him. It is a source of strength that cannot be depleted.The Strength of Quiet Confidence

God reveals his secrets to those who fear his name and to little children.
Isaiah 30:15
15 For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel:
?In returning and rest you shall be saved;
In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.?
The New King James Version
Here in Isaiah we find a different scenario: God shows us how to obtain safety and strength: by continually returning to him and by resting in him we shall be saved and by developing a quiet confidence in God we shall be strengthened.
So by returning continually to the Lord you withdraw from the world and all its pleasures and temptations. You withdraw to the Lord. When you sin, withdraw to the Lord. When you are in trouble, return to the Lord. When we return to the Lord we stop trying to save ourselves and begin to rely upon Him to save us!
By continually coming back to church, Sunday after Sunday, you are physically returning to the Lord. The New King James Version
Rest is ?Nachath? and it speaks of quietness or the rest of death. Save is ?Yasha? and we get Joshua and Jesus from this word. When we learn how to continually return our attention to Christ within and develop the rest of faith we will enter a zone where we will be saved, delivered and even avenged if necessary! God begins to fight on our behalf.
A quiet sense of confidence confuses the enemy. God will give you boldness and security if you quietly commit yourself to Him at all times. The king in Daniel?s time finally had to admit that there is no other God than the God of Daniel, because Daniel faced the lions in the lions den with a quiet confidence in God.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego faced the fiery furnace with a quiet confidence in their God. Isaiah 30:18-26
For the Lord is a God of justice;
The Lord is looking for people who will continually return to Him so that He can give them rest and quiet confidence that will confuse the enemy of their souls.
Tell people everywhere you go: ?If you return to the Lord and enter into His rest you will be saved; He will give you a quiet confidence that will be your strength.? The Lord says: ?If you disregard the prophetic word then the secrets and the visions of God will be sealed from you. ?If you worship God but your heart is far from Him, your worship is meaningless. God wants you to serve Him whole-heartedly.
?God will judge those who show contempt for God. ?As God rescued Abraham from trouble, so He will rescue you. ?You will teach foolish people and they will learn to understand. Isaiah 29:22-24
