Be known as a Restorer of Ancient Ruins

Those whose hearts God will touch to participate in the rebuilding of the old church that was about to be demolished and turned into an apartment building, will be called the restorers of ancient ruins. We will issue a certificate to that effect to everyone who will contribute financially or physically help to rebuild the old church in Goodwood West and reform it from a Dutch Reformed Church to a Harvester Reformational Church. I have obtained a loan in principle of R2,7 million after the seller reduced the price by R250 000!

After many attempts we have been unable to secure a loan. So we are looking to God for the total amount.

The church account number is Absa 1057290770 Belville (632 000) and or mailing address is P O Box 276 Milnerton 7435.Restoring Ancient Ruins

Isaiah 58:11,12
11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. 12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
The King James Version

Build – banah – rebuild – repair – cause to continue – establish a family
Waste Places – Korbah – desolate – ruined – decayed
Generations – dowr – quality and standard of men
Repairer – mason – fenced in – secured
Breach – perets – bursting forth (of the wrath of God)
Restorer – shuwb – turn back from apostasy – turn back to God –bring back from evil –
Bringing back to memory – remind
Paths to dwell in as opposed to evil ways and crooked paths

God is looking for those who would turn people back from apostasy in this generation by reminding them of the pathways of God and to save them from the coming wrath of God. By physically repairing the broken down house of God, by putting up fences to make it secure, by doing the work of masons, by reconstructing the dilapidated building, by repairing the ruined church, by preventing the decay to continue to destroy it, by saving it from demolition by purchasing it, we keep it from becoming Korbah – desolate.
We shall forever be called the restorers of ancient ruins. From the restored building people will be taught the ways of God, be reminded to serve God again and the work of God will continue in that area, the presence of God will refresh barren souls and the family of God will be established.

What we have been doing spiritually for the past 14 years will become visible now: the reformation we have proclaimed will now be demonstrated by the physical repair of an old Dutch Reformed Church.

Those whose hearts God will touch to participate in the rebuilding of the old church that was about to be demolished and turned into an apartment building, will be called the restorers of ancient ruins – in heaven and on earth! We literally fulfil that scripture!
