Prophecy about Asher

Portion of a prophecy to me by prophet Sigi Oblander

Because truly it’s an hour that you’re going to influence a generation, a generation that’s looking for an answer. And I’m going to give you a key to unlock hearts, lives, nations. You are going to be like Asher who dips a foot in oil (Deut 33:24) and leaves footprints behind.

Deu 33:24  And of Asher he said: 'Asher is most blessed of sons; Let him be favored by his brothers, And let him dip his foot in oil.

Deu 33:25  Your sandals shall be iron and bronze; As your days, so shall your strength be.

Blessed of Sons.

According to the Biblical account Asher was the eighth of Jacob's sons, the second borne to him by Zilpah the handmaid of Leah. His uterine brother was Gad (Gen_35:26). With four sons and one daughter he went down into Egypt (Gen_46:17). At his birth Leah exclaimed, “Happy am I! for the daughters will call me happy: and she called his name Asher,” i.e. Happy (Gen_30:13). This foreshadowing of good fortune for him is repeated in the blessing of Jacob: “His bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties” (Gen_49:20); and again in that of Moses: “Blessed be Asher with children; let him be acceptable unto his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil” (Deu_33:24). His family prospered in Egypt, and at the Exodus the tribe of Asher is numbered at 41,500 adult males (Num_1:41). At the second census the number is given 53,400 (Num_26:47). ISBE

Warning to eject God’s enemies spiritually:

The rich land assigned to Asher sloped to the Phoenician seaboard, and brought him into touch with the Phoenicians who were already world-famous in trade and commerce. He probably soon became a partner in their profitable enterprises, and lost any desire he may ever have had to eject them from their cities (Jdg_1:31).

Repentant Asher

He was probably soon largely absorbed by the people with whose interests his were so closely identified: nevertheless “divers of Asher,” moved by the appeal of Hezekiah, “humbled themselves, and came to Jerus” (2Ch_30:11 the King James Version).

Anna from Asher

Jesus Christ received honour from Prophetess Anna from the tribe of Anna.

To this tribe belonged the prophetess Anna (Luk_2:36).

Favoured by brothers.

Favour is from the Lord. We do not seek the favour of man, but desire only to please God by faith.

Favour is the word from the Hebrew meaning:

H7521   râtsâh  raw-tsaw'

A primitive root; to be pleased with; specifically to satisfy a debt: – (be) accept (-able), accomplish, set affection, approve, consent with, delight (self), enjoy, (be, have a) favour (-able), like, observe, pardon, (be, have, take) please (-ure), reconcile self.

Our debts will be covered supernaturally. God’s seal of approval will be on all we do in His name. There will be reconciliation with the greater Church as the Lord wills. There will be delightful divine connections in God’s time, orchestrate by the Holy Spirit, not set up by man.

Dip his foot in Oil.

The foot speaks of a journey and in our case, “travel” as we fulfil His great commission to go into all the earth, preaching the Good News and making disciples of all nations, the Lord confirming His word with signs and wonders following those who believe in Jesus name. Oil refers to the olive oil that made the territory famous, but is also used of the anointing oil. God anoints our travels to go and preach the Gospel, yes all over the Cape Area, throughout South Africa and to the ends of the earth.

Sandals shall be iron and bronze

As your days so shall your strength be

Like a long hot day, your life will be full and perpetual, your strength will be like a strong day.

Gen 49:20  'Bread from Asher shall be rich, And he shall yield royal dainties.

Bread from Asher shall be rich. Also “fat”.

Historical Territory of Asher (ISBE)

“But the valleys breaking down westward and opening on the plains have always yielded fine crops of grain. Remains of an ancient oak forest still stand to the North of Carmel. The vine, the fig, the lemon and the orange flourish. Olive trees abound, and the supplies of olive oil which to this day are exported from the district recall the word of the old-time blessing, ‘Let him dip his foot in oil.’ ”

We have had many prophecies concerning the “House of Bread.” Apostle Andre dreamt that his house was full of bread, breads from every nation, people that came to the house were hungry and he literally opened any drawer in the house and pull out fresh bread. From Portuguese rolls to French loaf, whole wheat, farm style you name it!

I had a vision long ago about a Factory of bread that is packaging bread daily and exporting. Today we are sending Miracle Bible College Manuals across the world and thousands of people are benefitting from the bread we share. Jesus is the Bread of Life and every fresh revelation we receive is like freshly baked bread to the hungry heart. The aroma of fresh bread permeates all the meetings in the move of God’s Spirit! The Bread from Asher shall be rich.

Asher will yield Royal dainties! I like cookies!

It also means cheerful pleasure and delight will come from our activities for God. See Strong’s concordance for more: H4574. Others will taste and see that the Lord is good in our midst. Glory to God for bringing this to our attention – how rich is His Word in us!
