Principalities & Powers

Rulers of Darkness and spirits of wickedness control large areas of the world and influence people to do wicked and evil things. God wants us to rather be ignorant of evil and wise to do well, but we need to know the strategy of the devil so that we can combat him with spiritual weapons that are mighty to pull down his strongholds and replace them with strongholds of faith.

Evil Hierarchy

Satan’s number is 999. Satan’s hierarchy imitates the five-fold ministry in the church: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. All believers have authority to cast out demons by faith in Jesus’ Name. But believers don’t have authority to cast principalities down. That is the realm of apostles. We see that clearly in Acts 19 where Paul brought Diana down in Ephesus.

Ashtar, Baal, Paimon, Hagog, Beelze, Isi, Asmodee, Ariton & Mammon are all in charge of wicked spirits and demons.

Satan

He only has one aim: eternal destruction through war, pestilence and anything that causes death. This spirit forbids eating of the cow. The cow is a symbol of satanic witches. He pollutes humanity with corruption through lust.  He has come to steal, kill and destroy.

Apollyon

The spirit is also known as Gog, the spirit of the Anti-Christ. False religion earmarks the operation of this spirit. Sex, sport and money are false forms that replace religion. Australians say openly, God is dead; our gods are sex, sport and luck! Idolatry is rife where this spirit operates. The Roman Catholic Church is full of idols. India is full of idols. America is a nation of idol makers. Their program, American Idol, is proof of this. An idol creates wealth for those who promote it so that people will worship the idol. In America you have pop idols, movie idols, political idols, historical idols, fashion idols, sport idols – in every field there are idols that people can follow and worship. Diana was such an idol to the Ephesians in Acts 19.

Abaddon (Hebrew for destruction)

This spirit promotes homosexuality and lesbianism. This spirit causes a stinking smell in the spirit realm. Smoking, drinking, disco’s, rock, punk music causes people to go astray. Disco’s where strobe lights and heavy music hypnotise the senses of the clubbers is one of Satan’s entry points. Altar calls are given to dedicate your life to Satan.

Belial

The Stars Foretell, fortune telling and operating according to the movements of the planets are two ways this spirit reveals itself. It also encourages war and death everywhere.

The Beast (666)

Prefers to operate through systems and makes people slaves of systems so that they cannot serve the Living God. Many Church Growth Systems are inspired by this spirit in the church. People serve the system the pastor chooses and think they are serving God. Ecclesiastical rituals keep the Holy Spirit out of churches. People follow rituals and think they are serving God. They are deceiving millions in the name of religion. This kind of dead worship causes desolation. It is a spirit of desolation.

Leviathan’s spirit, Jezebel’s spirit, middle age craziness, sex and immorality inspired by these spirits that work in conjunction with the Beast.

Matthew 24:15

Ashtar

Ashtar causes false religion, serving Madonna and not Christ (Roman Catholic), the Mary or Venus worship (it is the same spirit), Diana worship, Isis worship in India. The moon is worshipped and used as symbol on flags and brochures.

Baal

The main symbol is The Third Eye. This is the symbol of the Free Masons. This spirit causes insanity. Stars are worshipped. Orion works with Baal. Orion controls demons and angels of light. Crystals, mirrors produce counterfeit images that deceive people into thinking they are hearing from God when they are actually relating to demonic spirits. The counterfeit gifts of the spirit operate by this power. Many so called prophets in charismatic circles operate by this spirit and not by the Holy Spirit. They have given themselves over to this spirit in order to get good offerings. They have become fortune tellers and work in cohorts with evil spirits in disguise.

Other symbols of Baal are a calf, the sun or stars. The Golden Calf that Israel built in the desert is called Orion and that spirit forbids eating cows as a result.

Paimon

Paimon wants the first born sacrificed for power and influence. False cults use this method to stir things up in the spirit world. Abram came from Ur of the Chaldees where first born sacrifice was a common practice. When God asked him to sacrifice Isaac, his first born, he did not think it strange. But God wanted to show Abram that God would sacrifice His only begotten Son to save the world and that human sacrifice is not acceptable. Abram saw the day of Christ and Jesus mentions it in John 8.

Paimon works with Orion and they control demons and angels of light. They also create channels for spiritualists to operate by speaking to demonic spirits. White garment religions are typical. They meet under shady trees to practice their religion but go into trances where evil spirits control them. They are deceived into thinking this is the Holy Spirit. These religions are rife in Africa. The worship of forefather spirits is also a demonic activity disguised as religion in Africa. They speak in a demonic tongue and think they are speaking in tongues given by the Holy Spirit.

Healing also takes place in these cults, but the people normally die of a worse disease. The demons take away one disease but give another. Only Jesus Christ can heal and keep us healthy. By His stripes alone we are healed (I Peter 2:24)

Magog

Magog works with Belial and gives wisdom to design weapons of mass destruction and warfare. China, Russia, Germany are all preparing for the final great battle to destroy all the people of God. Gog and Magog are mentioned in the book of Revelation opposing the living God. They are involved in stirring up the nations for the battle of Armageddon where the armies of the world will challenge the living God. Christ will destroy them and they will melt away like water. It will be the final battle.

Beelze

Beelze is the lord of everything that flies. The symbol is a horse that flies. This spirit uses the figure of a half man, half horse as symbol. Beelzebub is the name we are used to. He is also known as the lord of the flies.

Asmodee

Asmodee is a water spirit. Many so called faith healers (especially in Nigeria and Africa) cannot do miracles unless there is water present. They build their sanctuaries on swamps where this spirit controls the area. It works in conjunction with Abaddon and causes hatred for spouses and causes divorce and miscarriages. This spirit also forbids marriage and tells people to just live together. It is a teaching of demons that has to be rebuked, repented of and forsaken.

Ariton

Ariton uses magic and charms that give power to people. They wear armlets, rings, necklaces and even cloths that have spells put on them to bewitch other people and bring curses on them.

Mammon

Mammon is the store keeper of Satan. He is in charge of all Satan’s wealth and runs the entire store house. He sees to it that those who obey Satan and promotes his kingdom on earth are prosperous, but there is no blessing on that prosperity. It destroys the dealers in the end. Mammon controls the sixth spiritual plane around the earth. That is why it is so hard for Christians to make progress financially. This spirit resists them and works against them. He withholds earthly wealth from spreading the Gospel and deceives many believers into desiring money rather than God. The deception that riches bring chokes the Word of God in many believers. People think if they have money they have no more problems. So they pursue money instead of pursuing God.

The power of Mammon can only be broken by operating in God’s financial system of tithing and giving offerings and bringing sacrifices. Giving into the Lord’s work breaks the hold of Mammon on a life.

In order to break the hold of Mammon one has to repent and tithe. The spirit of Mammon has to be bound and loosened from the hold it has on a life. Sometimes it persists for generations in a family. But one person that is willing to do things God’s way can break that curse forever to open the windows of heaven for the next generation.

5 Fold Hierarchy

Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the hierarchy of evil: namely, principalities and powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual wickedness and demonic spirits. This five-fold hierarchy of evil corresponds with the five-fold ministry gifts of the Lord Jesus Christ: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers.

 

Any believer can cast out demons in the name of Jesus Christ according to Mark 16:15-20. But every believer cannot oppose spiritual principalities. You require a higher order to do that. Only apostles can come against principalities. So churches that argue that there are no modern day apostles are without that protection in the spirit realm.

 

Case Study Ephesus

Paul came against the principality of Diana ruling in Ephesus. He did not organize a prayer march or plant prayer poles (these foolish practices came into the church via Satanists who were converted and taught these things in their books and seminars and the believers followed like sheep without checking the Scriptures!). Paul simply taught in the school of Tyrannus for two years and then the word of God spread throughout all Asia (Acts 19) and God did unusual miracles by the hand of Paul so that even handkerchiefs that were laid on his body was sent to people in other districts and evil spirits left them and they were healed.

The people in Ephesus brought all their books on witchcraft and necromancy and burned them. They destroyed the statues of Diana whom they worshipped. The businessmen that made all those statues lost their trade and persecuted Paul for destroying their source of income.

An apostolic authority was set up in the spirit realm over Ephesus once the spirit of Diana was removed. Jesus Christ became the authority in the spirit realm over that city.

Paul never even preached against Diana. He simply preached the Kingdom of God and God demonstrated it by affirming it with signs and wonders!

God has no formulas. He has only one weapon: the truth.

We can learn as much as we want to about demons and spiritual principalities but knowledge will not conquer evil. We need more than that. We need spiritual power in the name of Jesus Christ.

 

Fasting and Praying

Sometimes it is necessary to fast and pray. Some spirits will not depart except through fasting and prayer. Corporate fasting is also a wonderful weapon. Get each person to fast for one day and then a 40 day fast is easy to do. Focus on what you are fasting for. Do good to others on the day that you fast. Do not seek your own advantage. Pray for others. Intercede for the body of Christ, the Church. Read the word and meditate on it, instead of eating meals on the day of your fast. Drink water for your kidneys sake.

Keep a notebook handy and write down what comes to you while you are waiting on the Lord. He will renew your strength.

Towards the end of the day, pray for yourself and your family. Mention your personal needs to the Lord in prayer. Cast all your burdens on Him for He cares for you. In nothing be anxious but let all your petitions be made known to God in prayer and the peace of God will keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

The battle in the spirit realm is the Lord’s. He conquered evil. We simply enforce the victory by keeping our eyes on Him and worshipping Him. He will give you the victory and cause you to triumph over the enemy of your soul.

 

He will draw all men to Himself as we lift Him up with our praise and worship.

He will build His Church. He will guide us with His hand. He will save, He will heal, He will baptise in the Holy Spirit and He will reveal Himself to us, more and more, as we seek Him earnestly.
