The Sower’s Conversation between Heaven and Earth

The Sower’s Conversation between Heaven and Earth
Preached by Apostle Aje Pelser as part of Become Harvester Series, 26th May 2026

Divine Points of Conversation that engages us with the Sower
Hos 2:19 “I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;
Hos 2:20 I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the LORD.
Hos 2:21 “It shall come to pass in that day That I will answer,” says the LORD; “I will answer the heavens, And they shall answer the earth.
Hos 2:22 The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel.
Hos 2:23 Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’ ”

Betrothal
Betrothed in righteousness – look at the betrothal of heavens and earth into one answer from God. The answer from God is the seed, the betrothal happens when heavens take His word and answer the earth, then the earth responds to the breath of God and the substance of His Word in that breath.
“You will be done on earth as it IS in heaven.”
We need to understand “WHAT IS” in heaven. What has God’s spirit spoken into the heavens about you, about your family, about your life?

Knowledge of God
As Spirit beings, we can re-enter the conversation and engage with Seed of the Divine Sower, and be betrothed in righteousness, justice, loving kindness, mercy, faithfulness and the result: WE SHALL KNOW THE LORD

Is the fruit of knowing God not the great exploits that we are asking for?
Dan 11:32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

Hearing God’s Answer echoed in heavens and reflected in earth
The word for answer in NKJV is actually also interchanged with hear and respond:
H6030 ‛ânâh (pronounced: aw-naw’)
to eye or (generally) to heed, that is, pay attention;by implication to respond; by extension to begin to speak; specifically to sing, shout, testify, announce: – give account,
Negatively: afflict [by mistake for H6031],
(cause to, give) answer, bring low [by mistake for H6031],
cry, hear, Leannoth, lift up, say, (give a) shout, sing (together by course), speak, testify, utter, (bear) witness. See also H1042, H1043.

Grain – seed of Word

Wine – blood of Jesus and new moves of His Spirit, wine skins refers to heart and structures of reception of His move.

New Oil – anointing that breaks the yoke and provides a flow of His guidance and empowered provision.

Restoration of sons and redemption of purpose
Here God restores three sons of Hosea that his wife conceived.
It is recorded in Chapter 1:2-9 that Hosea, at the command of God, took a harlot named Gomer the daughter of Diblaim as his wife. She conceived two sons namely, Jezreel ‘God sons’ (called this because of great slaughter predicted by his father) and Lo-Ammi ‘not my people’, (denotes rejection of Israel by God) and one daughter Lo-Ruhamah ‘not pitied not favoured’, to show that God would not show favour to Israel, and in Chapter 3:1-2 that by divine command purchased an adulteress (his wife back from the slave market).

Jezreel
Jezreel was a place of Baal worship, Ahab and Jezebel built a palace and temples to false gods there, Ahab coveted Naboth’s vineyard there and killed him for it. Jezebel was thrown from her palace there and Ahabs blood was licked by the dogs from his chariot after his death. Elijah pronounced judgment against their house and Jehu finished the job.

“The garden of Naboth seems to have lain to the East of the city (2Ki_9:21 ), near the royal domain, to which Ahab desired to add it as a garden of herbs (1Ki_21:1 ff). See NABOTH. This was the scene of the tragic meetings between Elijah and Ahab (1Ki_21:17 ff), and between Jehu and Joram and Ahaziah (2Ki_9:21). Joram had returned to Jezreel from Ramoth-Gilead to be healed of his wounds (2Ki_9:15). By the gateway the dogs devoured Jezebel’s body (2Ki_9:31 ff). Naboth had been stoned to death outside the city (1Ki_21:13). Josephus lays the scene by the fountain of Jezreel, and here, he says, the dogs licked the blood washed from the chariot of Ahab (Ant., VIII, xv, 6).” International Standard Bible Encyclopedia

Hos 2:23 Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy (Lo-Ruhamah); Then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ (Lo-Ammi ) And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’ ”

Purpose and theme of Hosea’s prophecy
God’s unchanging love for Israel is portrayed, despite their contamination with Canaanite paganism and fertility cults. It also points forward to God’s love for the world, Christ’s love for the Church and the Holy Spirit’s love for the individual.

Fourfold Theme: Israel’s idolatry, wickedness, captivity and restoration. When God restored His favour she (his daughter) was renamed ‘Ruhamah’ (2:23) (she has received mercy). Mercy became obtainable for all after Christ’s death and resurrection. “Calling all Backsliders”.

Conclusion
God has a conversation between realms of existence to sow His Word manifested in His sons through the earth, so that the earth will yield what He has commanded in the heavens. God’s Spirit breath gives life of the Seed process and shifts the weather and prepares the ground for the Seed to be received. Now let us consider the parable of the Sower again with this understanding, and the whole process takes on a new dimension and we have more engagement with the Divine Sower and participate in the conversation between heavens earth to see the increase of the Seed in our time -Jesus Christ the Seed of Abrahan, formed in the hearts of people wherever we are sown as Harvesters with Him across the earth – manifesting a heavenly conversation.

Application:
• Express your commitment to your Betrothed – Jesus the Head of the Church.
• Ask the Holy Spirit to expand our understanding of righteousness, justice, mercy, faithfulness.
• Engage in the divine conversation through prayer and meditation – let the will of God for you in the heavenly realm answer and hear the earth.
• Speak to your ‘earth’ and allow the Lord to move by His Spirit breath through your faith filled words and grow the seeds of faith sown by His Word over the years.
• Ask the Lord how He will sow you this week – into your realm of existence and speak over the seed of the Word to bear much fruit to His glory.
