In touch with the Supernatural
There are many powers in the world. The media is constantly projecting images of super heroes to our minds: superman, spiderman, the fantastic four – and even though these characters are based on flights of fancy, the reality of people seeking to be in touch with the supernatural should not be overlooked. Here is a biblical perspective of being in touch with the supernatural that shows the difference between God's divine power and the other powers in the world.

Proof of Another Realm
The Lord’s Prayer indicates the reality of another realm: ‘Our Father who are in heaven…holy is your Name…your kingdom come…your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!’
In order to say ‘our father’ you have to become a son. Jesus was the only begotten Son of God. His whole purpose for coming to earth was to unveil the purpose of God to create other sons.
John 1:12
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
The King James Version
Jesus became the Firstborn among many other brothers who were predestined to be conformed to His image as the Son of God.
Romans 8:29,30
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
The King James Version
By personal choice we become sons. By choosing to believe God reaised Christ from the dead and by confessing Jesus as Lord.
Romans 10:8-10
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The King James Version
Once we have the assurance by the Spirit of God that we are sons we have the right to cry out, ‘Abba Father!’ with the Spirit of adoption.
Romans 8:14-16
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
The King James Version
The entire creation cries out for the manifestation of the sons of God – in every country – because sin not only destroys people and cuts them off from the Father in heaven, but also destrous the earth. Sons of God obey their heavenly father and begin to do His will on earth as it is in heaven.
Skeptics who do not want to retain God in their minds are working against God’s eternal plan and preveting the fulfilmnet of God’s purposes that He revealed through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
The Purpose of God
1 John 3:7,8
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Acts 10:38
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
The King James Version
Luke 13:16,17
16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? 17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
The King James Version
He healed the sick and raised the dead and forgave sins and asked the Pharisees what is easier to say, ‘your sins are forgiven or raise up and walk?’ The Pharisees who were the leanred theologians at the time of Jesus could not answer Him. Can you?
The answer is simple: both are impossible.
But our Father who is supernatural and dwelss in the realm called heaven, specializes in things throught impossible and He can do what none other power can ever do!
How the Supernatural Power of God is released
His power is released by having faith in theName of His son Jesus Christ. Jesus explained to His own disciples (those who choose to be disciplined by His Word) when He commissioned them:
Luke 10:19
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
He sent his apostles (sent ones) as lambs among wolves to go in His Name to preach the Good News of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and to make discples of all nations and to baptize them in the triune Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost aand to go and heal the sick and cast out demons in His Name. He promised to be with them and to confirm His word with sings and wonders.
Matthew 28:19,20
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mark 16:18-20
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
The Supernatural realm opens up to all who believe in Jesus Christ. They receive the Holy Spirit that dristibutes gifts of the Spirit to them as He sees fit.
Acts 1:8
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
1 Corinthians 12:7-11
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
Other powers in the world
There are many other powers that try to compete with the supernatural power of God, but although they can bend spoons and enven lift tables, they cannot and will never be albe to create life for our God is the Life Giver and besides Him there is no god!
There are evil
